Today, the Vietnam National Team left for Jordan.
On the morning of March 24, Coach Park Hang Seo and his team will depart for Jordan to play the final match of Group C of the 2019 Asian Cup qualifiers. Previously, on the afternoon of March 23, after gathering, the Vietnamese team had their first and only training session in Hanoi.
In this training session, only 21/23 players attended. Due to being busy attending the advertising contract signing ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City, midfielder Quang Hai and goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung were unable to practice with the team.
Because all the players have just competed in round 3 of V.League, coach Park Hang Seo mainly let his players practice lightly and relax for about 1 hour.
Talking about the goal in the upcoming away trip, the Korean coach said: "This match is just a formality, mainly to determine the top position in the table, but my students and I are still determined to aim for a favorable result right on Jordan's field.
To make this happen, we are considering putting on the field a suitable lineup for this match that is predicted to be very difficult," Mr. Park affirmed.
According to the plan, the Vietnam team will board a flight to Jordan at 8:55 this morning. The whole team will undergo a 9-hour flight and arrive in the capital Amman at 19:00 the same day.
Coach Park Hang Seo and his team will have 2 days of training in an away country to prepare for the match against Jordan at 10:00 p.m. on March 27.
