More than 1,000 Nghe An workers and laborers participate in the 'Young Dance - Green Fashion' Contest
Through vibrant dances and creative recycled fashions at the "Youth Dance - Green Fashion" Contest, union members and workers of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board expressed their patriotism and desire to contribute to the youth.
On the afternoon of December 7, the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union coordinated with the Provincial Labor Culture House to organize the "Youth Dance - Green Fashion" contest.

Attending the event were comrade Le Tien Tri - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; Representative of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Agencies, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation; Representatives of relevant agencies and units and more than 1,000 workers and laborers of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board.
Over the years, the Trade Union of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone has made many efforts in performing the function of caring for and improving the lives of workers. In particular, cultural, artistic, and sports activities... have been organized enthusiastically and widely, contributing to building a joyful, healthy, and positive cultural and spiritual life, creating a playground for workers and laborers to freely create, thereby building a joyful and happy working environment, promoting solidarity, improving labor productivity, and bonding with the enterprise.

Continuing the series of caring activities, this year's "Young Dance - Green Fashion" Contest has the participation of more than 200 actors who are workers and laborers from industrial parks.
The contest aims to create a positive playground for workers. At the same time, it contributes to creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of each person in general and workers in industrial zones in particular in environmental protection activities, reducing plastic waste, and managing waste at source.

Speaking at the competition, Mr. Le Tien Tri - Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board praised the efforts ofEconomic Zone UnionSoutheast, the creativity and enthusiasm of union members and workers to make this meaningful activity. At the same time, thank you to business leaders and investors who supported the organizers and created conditions for workers and laborers to participate in the program.
In his speech, the Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board also shared about the changes and developments of the Southeast Economic Zone and its affiliated industrial zones over the years. Affirming the important role of workers in the journey of sustainable development, Mr. Le Tien Tri hopes that in the future, activities to care for workers will continue to be promoted.



Responding to the contest, for more than 2 months, union members,workerThe 18 competing teams took advantage of their breaks after work to practice dances and create costumes.
In the “Youth Dance” category, the teams participated in 11 joyful and vibrant performances with many genres such as Zumba, Flashmob, modern dance, folk dance... The performances expressed the spirit of solidarity, patriotism, class pride, and youthfulness.
In the “Green Fashion” category, with unique creative ideas, the teams brought 7 fashion collections made from recycled materials such as nylon, foam paper, cardboard, scraps, packaging accessories, burlap, plastic bottles, tree fiber, etc. Thereby, encouraging the reuse of excess materials, reducing waste, saving costs and resources.
The success of the contest has strongly promoted the mass cultural and artistic practice movement, improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers. At the same time, it is an opportunity for workers and laborers to be honored, to exchange and to nurture the core of the cultural and artistic movement for the base.


After a period of impartial work, the Organizing Committee has selected the best teams to award prizes. Accordingly, in the category of “Green Fashion”, there is 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 2 Third Prizes and 2 Encouragement Prizes. In the category of “Young Dance”, there are 5 Encouragement Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 2 Second Prizes and 1 First Prize.
