More than 1,000 teachers and staff of non-public schools received support due to difficulties caused by Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - The support is to comply with Decision No. 24/2022/QD-TTg regulating the implementation of support policies for non-public educational institutions that must temporarily suspend operations at the request of competent state agencies to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic.
According to the Department of Education and Training, after receiving instructions from the Department, localities have reviewed, compiled the list and sent it to the province to submit the payment budget. Thereby, the whole province has 1,013 beneficiaries under Decision No. 24/2022/QD-TTg with a total amount of more than 3.7 billion VND. Currently, all funds have been transferred to localities to pay support to the beneficiaries.
Of these, Vinh city is the locality with the largest number of beneficiaries with 446 people and a total budget of more than 1.6 billion VND. The remaining localities include Quynh Luu with 88 people, Nam Dan with 68 people, Dien Chau with 49 people, Nghi Loc with 48 people, Do Luong with 42 people, Cua Lo town with 37 people, Hung Nguyen with 26 people, Nghia Dan with 18 people, etc.

Managers, teachers, and employees are entitled to the policy when ensuring the following conditions: Being a person who is working at a non-public educational institution before the institution had to temporarily suspend operations at the request of a competent state agency to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic from May 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. Being on unpaid leave for 01 month or more from May 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. Not yet entitled to support policies for employees who temporarily suspend their labor contracts or take unpaid leave as prescribed in Clauses 4, 5 and 6, Section II, Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Government on a number of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Resolution No. 126/NQ-CP dated October 8, 2021 of the Government amending and supplementing Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Government on a number of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic due to not participating in compulsory social insurance.
Confirmation of working at a non-public educational institution until at least the end of the 2021-2022 school year according to the local school year plan, including the non-public educational institution previously worked at or another non-public educational institution in case the non-public educational institution previously worked at does not resume operations.
The support levels include: One-time support of VND 3,700,000/person applied to managers, teachers, and employees who have not yet enjoyed local support policies for groups of workers without labor contracts and some other special subjects as prescribed in Clause 12, Section II, Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP. Nghe An province has 60 non-public kindergartens and 285 independent preschools. Before Decision No. 24/2022/QD-TTg, more than 1,000 non-public kindergarten teachers had received other support policies from the State. However, there are still more than 1,000 teachers who have not received support for various reasons.Most of these are teachers from private independent preschools who have not received support due to their ineligible documents or lack of insurance coverage.
