More than 1.4 tons of animal organs hidden under the passenger bus

(Baonghean.vn) - At 1:00 a.m. on August 20, Dien Chau Traffic Control Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province) arrested a case of transporting more than 1.4 tons of animal organs hidden under the passenger bus.

Authorities discovered the goods carefully packed in foam boxes, placed under the passenger bus.

At the above time, while patrolling and controlling at km 409 of National Highway 1A, through Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau, the functional force inspected a passenger car with license plate 74B-00079 driven by Mr. Vo Minh Hai (born in 1981, residing in Thuy Xuan ward, Hue city), traveling in the South - North direction.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was carrying 18 foam boxes containing more than 1.4 tons of processed animal organs including pig intestines and hearts.

These organs have no valid documents.

The driver was unable to present any documents proving the origin of the shipment.

The working group has drawn up a record to seize the above animal products and handed them over to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling according to the provisions of law.
