More than 12 billion VND to support martyrs' families
(Baonghean.vn) - There are 171 organizations and businesses supporting more than 6.2 billion VND to the fund to support martyrs' families through the Provincial Association for Supporting Martyrs' Families.

That was the result of the mobilization during the live television night of Gratitude to the heroic martyrs and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers organized by the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of the province in coordination with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on July 9 in Vinh city.
In addition to the above results, since the beginning of the year, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs has also had many practical activities to show gratitude to families of martyrs on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017). Specifically, the Association has coordinated with a number of organizations and businesses to start building 21 gratitude houses for families of martyrs; and presented 10 savings books, each worth 5 - 10 million VND.
At the same time, the Association also propagated and mobilized 18/21 districts, cities and towns to withdraw from the Gratitude Fund and mobilize social resources to support families of martyrs on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day with a total of more than 6.6 billion VND.

In the near future, on July 25, the Association will continue to coordinate with the Nghe An Buddhist Executive Committee to organize a prayer ceremony and light candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Vinh City Cemetery.
According to the report from the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, since its establishment (June 18, 2014) up to now, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs has promoted, mobilized, and coordinated with organizations and businesses to start construction of 120 gratitude houses, worth more than 6 billion VND and repair 46 gratitude houses; donated 115 savings books (worth 5 - 10 million VND/book); donated 80 bicycles and 40 wheelchairs...
The Association has also mobilized and coordinated with localities: Yen Thanh, Quy Hop, Thanh Chuong and Vinh City to upgrade martyr memorials./.
