Mr. Son welcomed more than 23,000 visitors to the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery.

Implementing the Plan of Anh Son province and district on organizing activities to celebrate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), during the gratitude activities and the "remembering the source of drinking water" festival, the Management Board of the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery coordinated with all levels and sectors to welcome 335 delegations from the Central, provincial and local levels (including 9 delegations from the Central level; 45 delegations from provincial levels and departments, branches and sectors; 13 delegations from District Party Committees and People's Committees of districts and cities; 239 district-level unions and socio-political organizations, enterprises...) with more than 23,385 visitors to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.

Although the number of delegations and visitors was large (especially from July 20-27, there were about 4,000 visitors per day), the Management Board of the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery, together with related units, warmly welcomed the delegations and relatives of the people who came to offer incense and visit, promptly arranged sound and speakers, and cleaned the temple area, the reception house and the cemetery area.

Coordinate well with the Anh Son District Festival Organizing Committee to successfully organize the memorial service for Central delegations and Central Ministries to offer incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs. Coordinate with the Anh Son District People's Committee to organize the opening ceremony, proclamation ceremony, "Grand ceremony to pray for the heroic martyrs"; "Candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute", thanksgiving ceremony... ensuring respect and solemnity.

Mr. Tran Van Ngoc - Head of the Management Board of the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery said: Before the festival took place, the unit proactively coordinated with Regiment 335 to clean the entire cemetery, trim trees and branches, arrange flower vases and incense burners on martyrs' graves, and replace 11,000 new lotus branches that the Cemetery Management Board called for and received as offerings. Immediately after the gratitude activities on July 27 and the "Drinking water, remember the source" festival, we coordinated with the festival organizing committee, Anh Son District Youth Union, and related departments to clean the entire cemetery, and re-arrange flower vases and incense burners...
