Over 14 billion VND to build a centralized wastewater treatment plant for Bac Vinh Industrial Park
(Baonghean) -Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation - Lilama has decided to invest more than 14 billion VND to build a centralized wastewater treatment plant for Bac Vinh Industrial Park (IP).
The station has a designed capacity of 1,000m3/day, built along the western corridor of the Industrial Park. All wastewater from production facilities in the Industrial Park will be gathered at the station for treatment before being discharged into the environment. The wastewater after treatment meets type B standards according to Vietnamese standards QCVN 24/2009/BTNMT.

Lilama representative said that currently the Board of Members of the Corporation is preparing to open a bidding package in the form of EPC: design, equipment supply and construction, open domestic bidding method. The project will be implemented in 2011.
Thus, after more than 10 years of struggling to find a location to build a wastewater treatment plant and being continuously criticized for causing environmental pollution, Bac Vinh Industrial Park has finally found a solution.
