More than 200 teachers and primary school students exchange on 'Traffic safety skills education'
(Baonghean.vn) - This activity aims to contribute to supplementing and consolidating traffic safety knowledge, promoting proactiveness in learning and understanding the Traffic Safety Law for primary school students.
On the morning of December 26, at Le Loi Primary School (Vinh City), the Department of Education and Training organized an exchange on traffic safety skills education for primary school level for the 2023-2024 school year.
The exchange session was attended by 210 students (representing more than 350,000 primary school students) and 21 teachers (representing more than 15,000 primary school teachers) from primary schools from 21 districts and cities in Nghe An province.
During the 1-day period, teachers will participate in practical activities onTraffic Safety EducationIn the spirit of innovative teaching methods and effective use of teaching equipment, it has been implemented.
As for students, they will participate in a contest to learn about traffic safety knowledge, draw pictures on the topic of traffic safety, comment on pictures and show their talents.

In addition, candidates will participate in a knowledge test answering questions about traffic safety learned in the primary school program.
In the talent competition, students will present a short skit on traffic safety education with simple and gentle content but demonstrating profound education on traffic safety, suitable for the curriculum and psychology of primary school students, or present poetry, folk songs or folk songs with new lyrics according to the content of traffic safety education expressed according to the regional characteristics of the participating unit.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dao Cong Loi - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training said: The exchange program on traffic safety education at primary school level is a meaningful program.
Thereby, to supplement and consolidate knowledge of traffic safety, promote proactiveness in learning and understanding the Traffic Safety Law for primary school students. From there, forming some basic skills on traffic safety and applying knowledge of the Traffic Safety Law for students when participating in traffic. This is also an opportunity for staff and teachers to share experiences on methods and forms of organizing activities to educate skills when participating in traffic safety.

The education sector also hopes that from the success of today's exchange program, students and teachers will spread the program to every primary school in the province, spreading inspiration and positive energy to create changes in traffic safety education at the primary level, forming and developing traffic culture right from primary school, creating a positive impression, contributing to the development of learners' qualities and abilities.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to 21 students who overcame difficulties and studied well from primary schools in 21 districts, cities and towns.


The sponsoring unit's representative also donated 35 million VND to the Traffic Safety Skills Education Exchange Program at primary school level, school year 2023 - 2024./.
