More than 2,800 chickens, ducks and cosmetics of unknown origin were transported on a passenger bus.

(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of July 21, the Environmental Police Team (Vinh City Police) arrested a case of transporting a large quantity of poultry and cosmetics and clothes of unknown origin.

While on duty on Tran Phu Street in Hong Son Ward, the Environmental Police Force of Vinh City Police inspected passenger bus 74B - 00174 driven by Mr. Le Quoc Vu, born in 1974, residing in Dong Ha - Quang Tri, traveling on National Highway 1A.

Authorities inspect poultry of unknown origin

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was transporting 33 cartons containing 2,800 chickens and ducks without documents proving their origin or quarantine documents.

Foreign branded cosmetics seized

In addition, the environmental police also discovered 20 cartons containing 600 packages of milk; 160 bottles of shampoo; 360 tubes of hair dye; and many sacks containing 220 pairs of shoes; and more than 600 sets of clothes.

All of the above cosmetics, clothes, and shoes have foreign labels.

At the time of inspection, driver Le Quoc Vu could not present any documents proving the origin of all the above goods, so the authorities made a record of the seizure for handling according to the provisions of law.
