More than 3,000 entrepreneurs attend professional training courses

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 26, the Provincial People's Committee held a summary of the 2015 business training work and deployed tasks for 2016.

Attending the conference were comrade Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In the period 2012-2015, the Department of Planning & Investment coordinated with Nghe An University of Economics, Business Associations, Entrepreneurs and related units to successfully organize 35 classes for 3,317 students to participate in training courses for entrepreneurs in the province.

In 2015 alone, 14 training classes were organized for 1,172 participants, including 4 business start-up classes, 6 business administration classes and 4 specialized management classes - Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Conference overview.

The training courses for the Entrepreneur team have provided knowledge and skills for leading and managing businesses, contributing to improving the efficiency and competitiveness of businesses in the context of regional and global economic integration.

Students are imparted knowledge on how to build and plan strategies, human resource management, corporate financial management...

The lecturers are a team of leading experts from major universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with many practical teaching methods, contributing to the successful implementation of the training courses. At the same time, through the training courses, the Organizing Committee invited representatives of relevant departments, agencies and sectors to participate in direct dialogue, removing difficulties and obstacles for businesses.

Mr. Bui Thanh An, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment reported the results of training the business team in 2015.

The goal for the 2016-2020 period is to continue to train a team of entrepreneurs with qualifications and the ability to effectively manage and operate businesses and organize production and business through organizing training courses on basic knowledge of business start-up, business administration, legal knowledge and other soft skills to meet the requirements of development and integration into the regional and world economy.

Organize 50 training classes with at least 2,500 participants; in which, increase the organization of specialized Business Administration classes. Conduct annual surveys and investigations on training needs of businesses and entrepreneurs to build a database for training activities.

Provide on-site consulting for businesses; organize specialized seminars to discuss and resolve difficulties in the production and business process; provide advice and basic knowledge to businesses and entrepreneurs about opportunities, challenges and missions in the integration period.

Comrade Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, gave a speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, assessed: In 2015, the number of students and classes increased compared to previous years, the diversity and depth of each field were clearer. After the training sessions to foster businessmen, the vision of the provincial businessmen team on integration was improved.

Access to knowledge about international economic integration, thereby creating conditions for the business team to prepare mentally to do well in deep integration. Through training and development, it helps business leaders to lead and operate better, to plan and innovate appropriate and effective production and business strategies.

However, besides the achieved results, there are still some shortcomings such as the number of students participating in the course is still low, the training budget is limited. The training courses have not gained experience for the following courses.

In the coming time, the Department of Planning and Investment and the Organizing Committee of the course need to coordinate with media agencies to promote the policy mechanism to students to attract more businesses and entrepreneurs to participate in the course. At the same time, it is necessary to clearly understand the needs of learners to provide practical topics, train businesses and entrepreneurs accordingly; and there needs to be an assessment after the training.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that the trainees trained today will be the core in the socio-economic development of the province and proactively build better and better production and business plans for their enterprises.
