(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of July 27, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Vinh Medical University to organize a program to examine and provide free medicine to the elderly, the disabled, victims of Agent Orange, people in difficult circumstances, and religious areas in Thanh Khe commune (Thanh Chuong)..
In Thanh Khe commune, 300 poor households, policy beneficiaries, and families in especially difficult circumstances were examined, consulted, and given free medicine. The total cost of the free medicine was 24 million VND, sponsored by the Provincial Red Cross Society. This is one of a series of humanitarian medical examination, treatment, and community health care programs in the whole province in 2016 with the theme "Joining hands for community health" of the Provincial Red Cross Society.
