(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 16, in Muong Xen Town (Ky Son), many youth union members participated in the blood donation festival to save lives. What was special was that many volunteers crossed the forest and braved the rain to donate blood.
Overcoming the special conditions of the area, traffic, roads and especially after the prolonged rains, 332 people participated in the blood donation festival organized by the Provincial Blood Transfusion Hematology Center in coordination with Ky Son district. As a result, the Organizing Committee collected 294 units of blood compared to the target set by Ky Son district of 220 units.
Recorded at the blood donation session on the morning of September 16, despite the impact of storm No. 3 in Ky Son district, which caused heavy rain and extremely difficult travel, many volunteers still braved the rain and traveled 50-60 km to Muong Xen Town to participate in the festival "Sharing life by donating blood".
