More than 32,000 candidates take the 10th grade entrance exam

(Baonghean) -This morning, more than 32,000 candidates in 69 examination councils in 1,383 examination rooms of Nghe An participated in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2014-2015 school year. This year's 10th grade exam was conducted in the form of an entrance exam with 3 subjects: Literature, Math and Foreign Language and was held over 2 days (June 23 and 24).

This is an exam with many new features, in which each candidate can register for a maximum of 3 wishes. Wish 1 is to enter a public high school or a non-public high school or a continuing education center. Wish 2 is to enter a public high school with registration for wish 2 or a non-public high school or a continuing education center. Wish 3 is to enter a non-public high school or a continuing education center. In addition, many other subjects such as students from ethnic boarding schools, students from ethnic minorities, students with disabilities or students who have won national prizes in culture, arts, physical education, sports, and science and technology competitions for high school students have also been directly admitted according to the new regulations.

This year, according to the plan, schools will enroll 33,508 students. Of which, public school students are 28,040. To prepare for this year's exam, the Department of Education and Training has mobilized 3,181 supervisors, 199 members as inspectors, and 21 inspectors stationed at the grassroots level. In addition, the Department has established 5 more mobile inspection teams. Some schools with a high number of candidates registering for the exam include: Huynh Thuc Khang High School (1,056 students), Ha Huy Tap High School (877 students), Le Viet Thuat High School (758 students), Dien Chau 2 High School (785 students), Hoang Mai High School (748 students), Ky Son High School (786 students), Nam Dan 1 High School (741 students), Bac Yen Thanh High School (701 students). The results of the 10th grade entrance exam will also be combined to select candidates for Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and other high schools for ethnic minorities in the province.

According to plan, the results of the 10th grade entrance exam will be available on July 4.
