More than 550 athletes participate in the Agricultural Sports Festival

Taking place from April 13-15, the 5th Sports Festival of the Agriculture sector gathered over 550 athletes, 40 units representing 4 sectors of agriculture, forestry, irrigation, aquaculture... competing in 6 events: chess, Chinese chess, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and tug of war.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said: The Sports Festival on this occasion is organized to encourage and create an environment for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of units under the Department to practice and improve their health, compete, exchange experiences, and strengthen solidarity and unity to complete all tasks better.
