(Baonghean.vn) –On the morning of March 30, Quynh Luu district organized a vocational exam for 9th grade students of 42 secondary and high schools in the area, with more than 6,000 candidates participating.

The exam is organized with 3 professions: IT, electricity and rice farming. Students will participate in two parts: theory and practice. The theory exam will be on March 30, and the practice exam will be on April 2.

The goal of the competition is to supplement practical skills, to stream high school students to vocational training, and to contribute to solving the problem of "too many teachers, not enough workers" in production. In the general curriculum framework of the Ministry of Education and Training, secondary school students begin vocational training from the end of grade 8. Vocational training at secondary school lasts 70 periods. Candidates who pass the general vocational exam will receive a certificate, with excellent grades adding 1.5 points; good grades adding 1 point; and average grades adding 0.5 points to the 10th grade entrance score.
