According to the report, Chinese authorities investigated 643,000 cases, of which conclusions were reached in 639,000 cases, between November 2007 and June 2012.

Authorities have also investigated and resolved a number of major cases, such as those involving former Chongqing Party Secretary Bo Xilai, former Railways Minister Liu Zhijun, former Shenzhen Mayor Xu Zongxing and several other high-ranking officials.
