More than 7,000 people will take part in the Korean Language Test in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - This is the 11th exam to be held and along with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An is one of three localities hosting the exam.

In order to implement the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Employment and Labor of Korea and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam on the program of sending Vietnamese workers to work in Korea, the Korean language test will be held on October 8 and 9.

This is the 11th time the exam has been held to select people with good Korean language skills to apply for work in Korea according to the agreement signed between the two countries.

In Nghe An, the exam will be held at Vinh University of Technical Education with the participation of 7,463 people from provinces in the North Central region. Candidates from localities with a large number of runaway workers (according to the list announced by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs) will not be allowed to take this exam.

According to the plan, candidates will take two parts: listening comprehension and reading comprehension. The questions in the test are based on the Korean language training curriculum (The Standard Textbook for EPS-TOPIK). It is expected that in this test, there will be about 2,100 quotas. The number of people who meet the requirements for the Korean language test is equal to the allocated quota, selected according to the principle of taking the person with the highest score down from those who scored 80 points or more (maximum score: 200 points).
