More than 700 teachers participated in the 2015 Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - The 2015 provincial excellent teacher competition attracted714 teachers from nearly 100 high schools and continuing education centers attended.

On the morning of October 10, the Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2015 Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition for High School and Continuing Education levels. Attending the competition were leaders of the Department of Education and Training and 714 contestants.

Candidates must pass 3 sections: report on experience initiatives or results of applied pedagogical scientific research; test on understanding of professional or technical knowledge, pedagogical skills and practice teaching 2 sections in the curriculum, including 1 optional section and 1 section planned by the Organizing Committee.

This year's contest gathered many excellent teachers selected from nearly 100 high schools and continuing education centers of the province.

The Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition for High School and Continuing Education levels is held every four years to select, recognize and honor teachers who have achieved the title of excellent teachers for general education and continuing education programs. This is also an opportunity for teachers and educational administrators to demonstrate their abilities, study and exchange teaching experiences; organize classes; creatively and effectively exploit teaching aids and equipment; and contribute to the implementation of emulation movements in schools.

This year, the contest will take place for 1 month in Vinh city, Dien Chau and Cua Lo town. Candidates who meet the requirements will be recognized as Excellent Teachers of the province for the period 2015 - 2019.
