Nam Dinh fans and Thien Truong Stadium are keywords that help to associate with the enthusiasm in cheering for football, but there have also been many times when yellow shirt fans and this place have made Vietnamese football confused.
In 2005, in the match between Nam Dinh and Dong Tam Long An, players from both teams clashed on the field, and referee Nguyen Quoc Hung bled after trying to stop players from fighting. However, what is more noteworthy is that reporter Duy Bui (Sports 24h Newspaper) was treated roughly by stadium security, preventing him from working while taking pictures of the incident.
According to records at that time, reporter Duy Bui was asked by stadium security to temporarily hold his camera, prevented, handcuffed and escorted into the tunnel of stand A.

WHAT PUNISHMENT DOES THIEN TRUONG STATION FACE FROM VFF LAW FRAMEWORK?
If the match organizers allow other incidents to occur in the stadium that cause panic and affect the health of others, they will be fined 20,000,000 VND.
a) Fine from VND 30,000,000 to VND 70,000,000 in the following cases:
- Repeated violations during the match.
- Continuous violations, consecutively in many matches.
b) Violators who have been disciplined many times but still re-offend will be disciplined by playing at home without spectators or moving to an intermediate stadium.
Match organizers who allow spectators to spill onto the track or onto the field before, during, or after the match will be warned and may be fined at least VND 10,000,000 depending on the severity of the violation.
In case of serious violations, the home team's subsequent matches may have to be played at home without spectators or at intermediate grounds.
Warning, fine match organizers from 15,000,000 VND to 55,000,000 VND and must bear all related costs if before, during and after the match:
a) Failure to ensure security and safety in the stadium or the area surrounding the stadium where the match takes place: Allowing objects (bottles, jars, bricks, sticks, helmets, fireworks, etc.) to be thrown from outside into the stadium, spectators attacking match officials, away teams, home teams or causing injuries to spectators, players, match officials, staff and employees on duty.
b) Allowing fans to throw objects onto the field, causing unsafe conditions for those on duty on the field or affecting the technical aspects of the match. Depending on the seriousness of the incident, the home team's subsequent matches may have to be played at home without spectators or moved to an intermediate field.
c) Other fan behaviors that seriously affect the professionalism of the match and the away team's ability to play (according to the referee's assessment) or put pressure on the referee will result in the home team losing 0-3 to the away team (if they lose by more than that, the score will remain the same).
