The stylish 2014 Honda Accord arrives in Vietnam

Tomorrow, June 25, the 2014 Accord model imported from Thailand will be introduced by Honda Vietnam in Hanoi. The car's expected selling price will increase slightly compared to the 1.435 billion VND of the old version.

Compared to the 2012 version, the 2014 Honda Accord has a completely new design, with 2 straight chrome bars on the radiator grille, the air vents return to the honeycomb shape instead of a horizontal bar; the headlight cluster is more angular, has daytime running lights, and rectangular fog lights replace the old round ones. The exterior of the 2014 Accord 2.4 liter is almost similar to the 3.5 liter Accord version that Honda Vietnam displayed at the 2013 Vietnam Auto Show (photo).

These details are similar to the Accord model displayed by Honda Vietnam at the 2013 Vietnam Auto Show in Ho Chi Minh City, but the display version has a 3.5-liter engine and dual exhaust pipes, while the 2.4-liter version has a single exhaust pipe.

According to a Honda dealer in Hanoi, Honda Vietnam only imported about 30 cars in the first batch and the second batch at the end of the year. Notably, while the Thai market has both 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter engine versions, Honda Vietnam only imported the 2.4-liter version - the environmentally friendly Earth Dreams engine that first appeared in the Vietnamese market.

This 2.4 liter engine produces a maximum capacity of 174 horsepower at 6,200 rpm, maximum torque of 225 Nm at 4,000 rpm. In Thailand, the 2.4 liter engine version alone has 3 versions: EL, EL NAVI and TECH with differences in compression ratio, weight, tire size, navigation system equipment...

Currently, information about the car's selling price has not been revealed, but it is likely that the price will increase slightly compared to the 1.435 billion VND of the 2012 Accord version.
