Although the content of the district drills is quite large and new, requiring large budget investments, the Party Committees and authorities of the districts have identified the tasks well, have high determination, the entire political system has participated from the beginning, focused on leading and directing the implementation of tasks in a positive and effective manner, and focused on doing a good job of preparing for the drills.
Through the 2012 defense zone exercise, the leadership, direction and management mechanism of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the ability to coordinate in leading, directing and commanding the defense operations of the armed forces, the exercise task was linked with the construction and operation of the district defense zone, gradually perfecting the operation mechanism and supplementing the plan in implementing the Government's Decrees, and applying information technology software to the task of drafting defense zone combat documents. The exercise also contributed to raising political awareness for all levels, sectors and people in performing defense and security tasks, raising vigilance, being ready to deal with possible situations to maintain political security, social order and safety, building an increasingly solid defense zone, meeting the requirements of the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation./.
