According to the plan, the conference to summarize the campaign "Day for the Poor" in 2012 will be held on April 12, 2013. According to the draft report on the results of the campaign "Day for the Poor" in 2012, the whole province has mobilized over 22.6 billion VND, of which the provincial level mobilized over 4 billion VND; the district level mobilized over 8.9 billion VND; the commune level mobilized over 9.6 billion VND. From this fund, urban districts have built 872 new houses, repaired 395 houses, and helped develop production with nearly 1.8 billion VND. The implementation of the campaign has received timely attention from the Party Committee and the government; There have been many innovations in mobilizing and disbursing funds for the right purposes and to the right subjects, without loss.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee members frankly acknowledged the limitations and shortcomings in implementing the campaign, and contributed comments to the draft report such as: Some businesses have not really participated, some districts have left a lot of funds behind and disbursed slowly, so the fund has not been effective, and has not attracted donors to contribute to the fund...

In order for the 2013 “Day for the Poor” campaign to achieve its planned targets, the Steering Committee has oriented a number of solutions, including: It is necessary to promote propaganda about the purpose, meaning and content of the campaign; further enhance coordination between government agencies and mass organizations; Concentrate resources on implementing social security, aiming to help poor households build Great Solidarity houses in association with the 167/CP program accurately, ensuring publicity, democracy and the right target. At the same time, discuss the level of appeal for support for the “For the Poor” fund; the level of support for house building; the mechanism for organizations and individuals who register to support but do not transfer money; and consider the emulation titles of 2012.
