Press conference to announce the groundbreaking ceremony of VSIP Nghe An project

(Baonghen.vn) - At 7:15 a.m. on September 16, in Vinh City, Nghe An, a press conference was held to announce the groundbreaking ceremony of VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Complex. This is a communication activity taking place before the groundbreaking ceremony in the morning of the same day in Hung Tay Commune, Hung Nguyen District.

On behalf of Nghe An province's leaders, attending the press conference were comrades: Dinh Thi Le Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Ba Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Ho Quang Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Information and Communications; Vo Van Hai, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board.

Provincial leaders and investor representatives answer media questions about the VSIP Nghe An project.

The project is implemented by VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd., a member of VSIP Joint Stock Corporation, with a total area of ​​750 hectares, a total investment of 76.4 million USD, and was granted an investment certificate on June 30, 2015. The project planning includes: an industrial park complex with factories and workshops focused on the fields of consumer goods production, electronics and electronic components, construction materials, processing and food industries, etc. Phase 1 of the project covers about 279 hectares with an industrial land area of ​​198 hectares, factory construction density of about 55-70%. The remaining land fund is for commercial and service areas.

Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh affirmed that this is one of the key projects that Nghe An province has identified as one of the opportunities to create a driving force for the province's socio-economic development to have a breakthrough in the coming time. The clear effectiveness of previous VSIP projects for the localities where they are located is proof for us to believe in a successful project and make contributions to the sustainable development of the province's socio-economic development.

At the press conference, reporters and journalists asked many questions about the project and received specific answers from provincial leaders and VSIP representatives.

Reporter Quang Dai (Lao Dong Newspaper) asked about the welfare of workers at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park and environmental protection. VSIP affirmed that these are the two top concerns of investors and the project planning includes many items serving the public, employees as well as green space.

Reporter Bich Lan (Binh Duong Television) asked about the estimated progress of covering the project area by the investor. The General Director of VSIP Nghe An said that based on the operational efficiency and experience of the investor through 6 VSIP projects that have been implemented, and the survey to grasp the actual situation in the locality, VSIP Nghe An will quickly go into operation and attract a large number of businesses.
