Press conference to promote the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province for the period 2010 - 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 14, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to promote the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province for the period 2010 - 2015.

Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Ba Hung - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the press conference. Attending the press conference were representatives of relevant departments and branches along with many central and local press agencies.

At the press conference, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Committee announced the content of the patriotic emulation congress of the whole province for the period 2010 - 2015 with the theme "Solidarity, creativity, innovation, emulation to build Nghe An to develop rapidly and sustainably, basically becoming an industrial province by 2020".

This congress is of great significance, affirming the results and achievements that have been achieved to promote, pointing out the limitations, weaknesses and causes to overcome, praising and honoring heroic collectives and individuals, emulation fighters, advanced models, good people and good deeds. At the same time, drawing lessons on leadership and direction of organizing emulation movements and commendation work, thereby setting out directions, goals, tasks and solutions, continuing to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements in the next 5 years, 2015 - 2020.

Comrade Le Ba Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department, pointed out 7 main contents that the press needs to focus on promoting on this occasion.

Accordingly, the congress will take place over two days, September 22 (preparatory congress) and September 23 (official congress). On the night of September 22, a typical and advanced exchange will take place at the Vinh Giao Te Hotel Conference Center. The official congress program will be broadcast live on NTV. This patriotic emulation congress has 523 delegates attending, of which 222 delegates are typical and advanced collectives and individuals, elected and honored by sectors, levels, agencies and units. In particular, Nghe An Newspaper unit was honored to receive the title of hero in the renovation period at the Congress.

Comrade Ho Ngan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper emphasized: To contribute to the success of the Congress, Nghe An Newspaper has promoted propaganda work in print and electronic newspapers, published a special issue to welcome the Patriotic Emulation Congress, and built a column focusing on promoting typical individuals and groups over the past 5 years.

After listening to the opinions of the central and local press agencies and concluding the working session, comrade Le Xuan Dai emphasized: Determining the propaganda work of related contents before, during and after the Congress is extremely important, therefore, it is recommended that the central and local press agencies need to take drastic action, promote propaganda of contents related to the patriotic emulation movement of the past 5 years; open specialized columns and topics to spread good deeds, good practices... to be increasingly widespread./.
