Press conference to promote the meeting with investors in Spring Quy Ty and the 1300th anniversary of the Hoan Chau uprising

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, February 1, under the chairmanship of comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to promote the meeting with investors in the Spring of Quy Ty; the 1300th anniversary of the Hoan Chau uprising and the 2013 King Mai Temple Festival. Attending the press conference were representatives of provincial departments, branches, and sectors and central and local press agencies located in the area.

Overview of the conference.

The Investment Promotion Conference and Meeting with Investors in Nghe An is held in early spring every year at the initiative of three co-organizing agencies: Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Central Business Bloc Party Committee and Vietnam Development Investment Bank. The organization of the annual conference has created positive changes in attracting investment to Nghe An province; domestic and foreign enterprises coming to learn, research and invest in Nghe An province have increased in both the number and scale of projects over the years, creating a great driving force for socio-economic development.

The conference has been held annually since 2009 and up to now Nghe An has attracted 335 investment projects with a total registered capital of 107,117 billion VND, including: 313 domestic investment projects with 80,690 billion VND and 22 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with 1,248 million USD... The conference to meet investors in Spring Quy Ty 2013 is expected to be held on February 23, 2013. Up to now, preparations for the conference have been deployed and agreed on the contents related to the organization.

At the same time as the Spring Quy Ty 2013 Investor Meeting, Nghe An province will organize the 1300th Anniversary of the Hoan Chau Uprising and the 2013 King Mai Temple Festival (from January 14-16, i.e. February 22-24, Gregorian calendar). In preparation for the Festival, the province has directed Nam Dan district to establish subcommittees and assign tasks; work with the Faculty of History, Vinh University to compile and publish 1,000 books "Mai Thuc Loan Uprising", the commemorative program will be broadcast live on the evening of February 23, 2013, i.e. January 14, Quy Ty year; organize a conference to contribute ideas for the literary script "Van An Fire"; focus on the restoration and embellishment of the King Mai Tomb in Van Dien commune; coordinate with agencies to do a good job of propaganda...

After listening to the Provincial People's Committee announce the Conference and Celebration program, representatives of press agencies attending the press conference requested the departments and branches of the province to provide timely information on events within the framework of the festival activities to do a good job of propaganda; promote propaganda about Nghe An culture. Strengthen investment attraction to have many investment projects, create jobs for local workers; improve policy mechanisms to attract investment, especially increase calling on businesses to focus on investing in developing the marine economy; closely monitor the effectiveness of projects after attracting investment...
