At the press conference, the Provincial People's Committee announced the incident that occurred in Nghi Phuong commune (Nghi Loc) in the past few days, which originated from the fact that some extremists had disturbed public order, illegally detained people, and destroyed citizens' property recently. Especially the incidents of disturbing public order, illegally detaining people, and resisting law enforcement officers that occurred on August 30, September 3, and September 4, 2013. At the press conference, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Head of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency, provided some more details about the nature of the incident so that journalists could better understand it to serve the propaganda work.

At the press conference, journalists spoke, expressing their indignation at the extreme actions of some parishioners in the incident that took place on August 30, September 3 and September 4, 2013 in Nghi Phuong commune (Nghi Loc), and at the same time affirmed that the prompt intervention, strong direction of the Provincial People's Committee and effective coordination of departments, especially the police force, quickly stabilized the situation. Journalists highly agreed with the propaganda of some local newspapers and radio stations in recent times. Concluding the press conference, comrade Thai Van Hang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the press agencies, based on their functions, tasks, principles and purposes, to continue to reflect and inform about the incident objectively, accurately and honestly, without exaggerating the incident, and informing in accordance with the Press Law, contributing to orienting public opinion, so that people know and understand the true nature of the incident, thereby all people, both religious and non-religious, comply with the provisions of the law, contributing to building solidarity between religious and non-religious people; ensuring security and order in the area.
