HTV has copyright of English Premier League
A very surprising piece of information has been announced, that is HTV (Hanoi Radio and Television Station) has successfully purchased the third package of copyright for the English Premier League for 3 consecutive seasons (2013-2016).
HTV has the copyright of the English Premier League for Saturday matches.
Previously, since 2010, HTV also owned the copyright of the most attractive football tournament on the planet. There is information that, after 3 seasons of copyright ownership, due to economic difficulties, HTV will stay out of the race to own the copyright of the English Premier League.
However, with all the efforts for the fans, HTV has obtained the copyright for the next 3 seasons of the Premier League. The matches are broadcast live every Saturday night through 2 promotional channels (HTV1 and HTV2) and Hanoi Cable TV channel HcaTV.
It is known that the copyright package purchased by HTV has a total of 282 matches, accounting for about 80% of the matches of the Premier League in the 2013/14 season. Information from HTV said that they will try to report all matches on Saturday and broadcast them on the above HTV channels.
In addition, starting this season, Hanoi Radio and Television will broadcast matches of the German Bundesliga national championship on Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings.
Thus, every weekend, TV viewers can watch the two most exciting tournaments in Europe on HTV channels without having to pay any fees.
Along with these two tournaments, HTV will produce panoramic programs of the top European Championships such as England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France.
The first match to open the Bundesliga will be broadcast by HTV at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 between reigning European Champions Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach on channel 1.
