Hua Vi Van and Hoai Anh were both excellent students in the class, so they both got to know each other when they represented the class to participate in the school's Elegant Male and Female Student contest.

"Because the competition was limited in time, the school asked the contestants to try combining their performances to see if they could do it, and coincidentally, Hoai Anh could sing, so I asked her to sing a duet with me. We decided to sing the song 'Sudden Rain' after a day of practice. When we finished singing the duet, the whole school was in an uproar, and thanks to this performance, I won first prize for the Elegant Male Student, and Hoai Anh won first runner-up for the Elegant Female Student.

Hoai Anh and I were also members of the class's executive committee, so we participated in every performance.
