This announcement follows the AFF’s previous announcement of MSIG’s appointment as the official insurance partner for major national and club competitions, including the 2024 ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™, the ASEAN Shopee Cup™ and the ASEAN U23 Championship™. Together with the MSIG Serenity Cup™, these competitions are collectively known as ASEAN United FC.

The AFF Women's Championship has a history of development since 2004, with 12 editions held with quality matches from the region's top female players with outstanding talent.
