Two young talents of Hoang Anh Gia Lai try out at Korean club

On the morning of January 21, Vu Minh Hieu and Nguyen Canh Anh, two young players of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, flew to Thailand to try out for Cheonan City Club (Korea).

Minh Hieu and Canh Anh flew from Hanoi to Chonburi, where Cheonan City Club is training for a trial. They will have a week to show their talent to the Korean team.

Minh Hieu and Canh Anh are both from the youth team of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, playing for Hai Phong Club in the 2022 season on loan. The Korean strategist also said that his biggest difficulty during this time was saying goodbye to his long-time students. “Not continuing to lead the team made me feel regretful and tormented. My players are young and quite naive, most of them are younger than my son and I feel like I was a bit strict with them on the training ground,” said Mr. Park.
