Enrique could lead Brazil
The former Spain coach is in talks with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to become Tite's successor after the 2022 World Cup.
Brazilian media revealed that Luis Enrique has become a strong candidate for the head coach position of "Selecao". UOL revealed that CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues will travel to Europe next week to meet with Enrique, to consider the possibility of signing a contract with the Spanish strategist.
Ronaldo de Lima is said to have acted as an intermediary in the negotiations between the CBF and Enrique. The former Brazilian player was a teammate of Enrique at Barcelona and the two sides have a close relationship. Ronaldo "fat" strongly supports the option of hiring a foreign coach to lead the Brazilian team.

Before failing at the 2022 World Cup, coach Enrique was highly regarded for helping "La Roja" reach the semi-finals of EURO 2020 and advance deep in the Nations League in the last two seasons. However, the defeat against Morocco in Qatar caused the strategist born in 1970 to receive fierce criticism from the Spanish media and fans.
Rodrigues’ trip to Europe next week is aimed at finding a new coach for the Brazilian national team. Not only Enrique, many other names such as Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho are also on the CBF’s radar. However, all three coaches are working at big European clubs and it is not easy to convince or negotiate with them. Therefore, Enrique, who has just left the Spanish coach’s position, has become a bright candidate.
The search for a head coach for the Brazilian national team after the 2022 World Cup has become a controversial topic. Former football star Ronaldo "beo" believes that Ancelotti or a foreign coach could be the right coach for the "Selecao". Meanwhile, Rivaldo and Cafu believe that the Brazilian national team coach must be a native.

“I can help Korean football in any way, but I don’t think returning to coaching is the right decision. I’ve been away from home for more than 5 years, and there are many colleagues and juniors who are more dynamic and professional than me. As for Vietnamese football, the infrastructure for youth football here is not good, so I want to stay and contribute,” said coach Park.
Mr. Park and his wife are in Hanoi to celebrate Tet after finishing the AFF Cup 2022 with the Vietnamese team. He said he will stay in Vietnam to arrange work until early February before returning to Korea. Mr. Park's contract with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) will end on January 31.
The Korean strategist also said that his biggest difficulty during this time was saying goodbye to his long-time students. “Not continuing to lead the team made me feel regretful and tormented. My players are young and quite naive, most of them are younger than my son and I feel like I was a bit strict with them on the training ground,” said Mr. Park.
Saying goodbye to Vietnamese fans as the head coach of the national team also left many thoughts for coach Park. He humbly did not consider himself a hero of a football country, only hoping to be remembered as a coach from Korea named Park Hang-seo.
