Hung Chinh (Vinh city): Completed 15/19 NTM criteria

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 12, the Steering Committee for the New Rural Development Program of Vinh City had a working session with the People's Committee of Hung Chinh Commune to inspect the implementation of the New Rural Development Program in the area. Participating in the inspection team were Mr. Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Sinh - Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for New Rural Development of the City.

Up to now, Hung Chinh commune has achieved 15/19 criteria for new rural construction. In the coming time, the commune will focus on completing the remaining 4 criteria including traffic, environment, cultural facilities, and schools, striving to achieve 19/19 criteria and reach the new rural finish line by the end of September 2015.

Overview of the working session

At the meeting, the leaders of Hung Chinh Commune People's Committee pointed out a number of difficulties and problems and requested the city to pay attention to directing and creating favorable conditions for investment in upgrading infrastructure to help the commune soon complete its targets and reach the NTM finish line.

Concluding the working session, comrade Nguyen Xuan Sinh-The Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for New Rural Construction of the City acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee and the government of Hung Chinh Commune in the past time; at the same time, he requested the Commune to organize and launch a vibrant emulation movement, focusing on environmental sanitation work; reorganize appropriate positions; speed up the progress of basic construction; properly resolve unmet criteria and improve the quality of met criteria; complete the dossier to submit to the province. Regarding the recommendations of the Commune, the Head of the Steering Committee for New Rural Construction Program of Vinh City requested the leaders of the City's departments, offices and units to urgently consider and support to help the Commune overcome difficulties and strive to meet new rural standards according to the set roadmap.
