Hung Nguyen: Training on national defense and security knowledge for religious officials

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 28, Hung Nguyen district opened a training course on state management knowledge of religion and national defense and security knowledge for 80 religious officials in the district.

The course aims to train religious officials in Hung Nguyen district to have a deep understanding of the Party and State's religious policy; the viewpoints and guidelines on national defense and security in the new situation; and to clearly understand the plots and tricks of "peaceful evolution" of forces against our country's revolution. Thereby, it contributes to raising the responsibility and prestige of religious officials in preventing plots and tricks of taking advantage of religion to implement the "DBHB" strategy of the hostile forces against the Vietnamese revolution; At the same time, it raises the responsibility of religious officials in mobilizing parishioners to strengthen solidarity between Catholics and non-Catholics, maintain political security, social order and safety at grassroots levels in the district, and contribute their efforts and intelligence to the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new situation today.
