Hung Nguyen: Nearly 300 non-professional actors participate in the Lotus Village Singing Festival

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 14, Hung Nguyen held the opening ceremony of the 2015 District-level Sen Village Singing Festival.

Participating in the Sen Village Singing Festival in Hung Nguyen district this year are 19 units with 57 performances and the participation of nearly 300 amateur musicians and male and female actors from the whole district.

This festival will appreciate folk songs of Nghe An, especially the Vi and Giam melodies of Nghe Tinh - intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

With the theme “The name of Ho Chi Minh will shine forever”, the “Sen Village Singing” Festival is an activity to celebrate the 125th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday. It is an opportunity for Hung Nguyen people to sing and praise the Party, Uncle Ho, their homeland and country. This is also an opportunity for Hung Nguyen to develop the mass art movement, creating conditions for people to improve their cultural and spiritual life.
