Hung Nguyen: Striving to mobilize 3.8 billion VND for Farmers Support Fund
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 4, 2014, the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district held a conference to approve the project "Innovation and construction of the District Farmers Support Fund for the period 2014-2020".
The purpose of establishing the Farmers Support Fund is to help farmer members build and replicate economic development models to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, increase the scale and production of goods, develop occupations; contribute to shifting the economic structure and developing collective economic forms in rural areas; create conditions for the Farmers' Association from district to grassroots to promote activities, propaganda, mobilize, and gather farmers to successfully implement economic programs associated with agricultural development, building new rural areas, improving people's lives and building a strong association.
Striving from now until 2020, the District Farmers Support Fund will mobilize support of over 3.8 billion VND or more. Through this fund, it aims to contribute to solving employment for rural workers, implementing the goals of hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the area; helping farming households have more conditions to exploit the potential strengths of land, labor, economic restructuring, labor structure. Especially supporting and helping farmer members to build and replicate economic models, increase income, improve and enhance life.
