Hung Nguyen organized incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs

(Baonghean.vn) - Hung Nguyen district organized an incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs and visit and give gifts to families of policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of National Defense Day.

On the morning of December 16, the delegation of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and armed forces of the district held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Soviet-Nghe Tinh Heroic Martyrs Monument, Hung Nguyen District Martyrs Cemetery, and the memorial site of General Secretary Le Hong Phong.

With deep gratitude and appreciation, the Delegation took a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs, expressed their determination to promote revolutionary traditions, uphold the spirit of solidarity, concentrate intelligence and resources, join hands and unite to build Hung Nguyen homeland to become increasingly rich and civilized.

After the incense and flower offering ceremony, the delegates divided into two groups to visit and present gifts to 100 policy families, each worth 500,000 VND; and 20 families with children on duty to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands, each worth 1,000,000 VND.
