Hung Nguyen held a ceremony to award the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 11, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Nguyen district solemnly held a ceremony to award the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to 5 mothers.

Awarding titles to mothers

During the two great resistance wars of the nation, more than 18,000 children of Hung Nguyen hometown joined the armed forces, more than 2,500 youth volunteers and 3,000 frontline militiamen, fought side by side, served in combat with the army and people in all regions of the Fatherland; 2,700 soldiers sacrificed, nearly 3,000 wounded and sick soldiers, 68 heroic Vietnamese mothers, 2 Armed Forces Heroes, 4 Labor Heroes, over 20,000 families and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

This time, Hung Nguyen district organized the awarding of the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to 5 mothers, with infinite gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of the mothers.
