The move comes after a group of Right-wing extremists clashed with police and local businesses in the town of Mukachevo in the Transcarpathian region of western Ukraine, killing three people and injuring 14.
Accordingly, Budapest has "strengthened border security in the Transcarpathian region and reduced permits for Ukrainians to enter Hungarian territory."
The newspaper stated: "Hungarian customs officials have begun to more closely inspect vehicles entering the country. Hungary has also deployed additional police patrols and will re-inspect vehicles that have crossed the Hungary-Ukraine border."
On the same day, Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Groysman announced that he would establish a commission to investigate the Mukachevo case. According to Mr. Groysman, "abuse of power and corruption" could be the cause of this incident./.
