The incident just happened on VietJet Air flight VJ 8631 from Vinh to Ho Chi Minh City. The passenger who violated the law was Truong Huu H. (30 years old), from Nghe An.

According to information from the flight crew of VJ 8631, before takeoff, the flight attendant announced that passengers were not allowed to smoke on the plane, including electronic cigarettes. If passengers violated the rule, they would be administratively punished according to the law.

Immediately afterwards, Captain Darko Drva asked the chief flight attendant to make a record of the passenger's violation, signed by the violator and witnesses, and transfer it to the Airport Authority for handling according to the law.
