However, when his steps became heavy due to age, it no longer "supported" Hoang in terms of professional ability. Unable to find a solid position in the Nghe An team, Hoang decided to join the First Division team XSKT.Can Tho to play more often. However, at SLNA and later XSKT.Can Tho, although Hoang was very diligent and found a common voice with his teammates, his form did not match.

Then when they learned that Huy Hoang and his wife were in the fashion business, many people understood that this central defender wanted to cut all ties with football to switch to another field. With his wide connections when he was a famous player at SLNA, it was not difficult for Hoang to approach the business profession.

Before that, Hoang's wife Phuong Le also used to do fashion business and many other fields and Hoang was the one who supported her when she was not practicing or competing. However, when he put football aside, business became really serious for Hoang and now, it is his career, not football anymore.
