Nam Dan District Youth Union held the congress for the 2017-2022 term

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 14, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nam Dan district held the opening ceremony of the 26th Congress of Delegates, term 2017-2022. This is the unit directed by the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee to hold the district-level model Congress.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity, creativity, overcoming difficulties and being proactive of the youth of Uncle Ho's beloved homeland, through two revolutionary action movements "Proactive and volunteering to develop the socio-economy and protect the Fatherland"; "Accompanying young people to establish their careers and careers" associated with the campaign "Nam Dan youth study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings", in the past term, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Nam Dan have strengthened the building and consolidation of the Youth Union organization, expanded the solidarity front, gathered young people, and brought the activities of the Youth Union and the youth movement to constantly develop and grow in all aspects.

During the past term, the district admitted nearly 7,000 new members; the rate of strong grassroots Youth Union organizations reached 55-60%; 1,363 outstanding members were trained and introduced to the Party for consideration, of which 863 members were admitted to the Party.

In particular, the movement "Volunteer shock for community life" has attracted a large number of young union members to participate in many activities of profound social significance; undertaking 23 district-level youth projects; participating in 6 provincial-level projects; 360 grassroots-level projects; and more than 1,800 branch-level projects.

For 5 consecutive years, Nam Dan has been ranked as an excellent strong unit by the Provincial Youth Union and has been awarded many certificates of merit, certificates of merit, and excellent emulation flags by the Central Youth Union, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Youth Union.

On this occasion, 11 individuals were awarded the "For the young generation" Medal by the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Nam Dan District Youth Union was awarded the flag of an excellent unit in the Youth Union work and youth movement for the 2012 - 2017 term by the Provincial Youth Union; Nam Dan District Party Committee awarded a banner with the words "Pioneer, exemplary, united, creative".
