Ky Son district works with the Forest and Delta Project delegation
On June 13, 2013, in Ky Son district, the working group of the "Project to support sustainable development of low-income areas and climate change response in the forest and delta areas of Vietnam (abbreviated as the Forest and Delta Project) directly surveyed and had a working session with leaders and representatives of district-level departments, agencies and sectors on forest management and protection, land use planning and climate change response.
(Baonghean.vn) -On June 13, 2013, in Ky Son district, the working group of the "Project to support sustainable development of low-income areas and climate change response in the forest and delta areas of Vietnam (abbreviated as the Forest and Delta Project) directly surveyed and had a working session with leaders and representatives of district-level departments, agencies and sectors on forest management and protection, land use planning and climate change response.
The project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for 4 provinces, including Nghe An. Currently, the project is in the process of surveying and finalizing the content to submit to the Government and will be implemented in the near future. This is a non-refundable technical assistance project, helping localities effectively cope with climate change, expected to be implemented in 5 years, from 2013 to 2017.
