Quy Chau district gives gifts at the beginning of the new school year

(Baonghean.vn) -In the 2012-2013 school year, Quy Chau District Ethnic Minority High School welcomed over 1,300 students from 12 communes and towns. Of these, 80% were children of poor ethnic minorities and those from disadvantaged areas.

To encourage and support students to study with peace of mind, on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year, agencies, units and organizations in the area presented 41 gifts to students of the Quy Chau District Ethnic Minority High School, including: the District Association for Promotion of Education presented 20 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND); the District Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development presented 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND; the District Fatherland Front presented 10 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND and the District Women's Union presented 1 gift worth 2 million VND.
