Man United legend becomes Director of PVF 'incubator'

(Baonghean.vn) - Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs will become the Director of Football of the PVF Youth Football Training Center.

On November 20, PVF Youth Football Training Center under Vingroup will officially inaugurate its new facility in Hung Yen. On the occasion of the inauguration, PVF will organize international friendly football matches for the U15 age group with the participation of Stoke City (England), Central Coast Mariners (Australia), Busan I'park (Korea) and U15 PVF.

At the same time, PVF will officially sign a contract, introducing world football star Ryan Giggs - the legendary former captain of Manchester United to the position of Football Director of the Center.

Accordingly, Ryan Giggs is responsible for training players and coaches, and participating in building and developing PVF to become the number 1 football training center in Vietnam, on par with famous football academies in the world.

Accompanying Ryan Giggs is the talented former midfielder Paul Scholes - one of the pillars of Man United Club during the Golden Age of the "Red Devils" of Manchester. For young players today, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are always symbols of passion, talent and effort to reach technical perfection, of perseverance to maintain peak performance and of wholehearted dedication to the flag and the shirt.

The news of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes joining the PVF staff is a surprise to Vietnamese fans. However, this is part of the operational strategy towards the standards of world professional football. Besides the two names above, PVF is also urgently completing a team of prestigious and experienced foreign experts.

Currently, PVF has 01 Technical Director, 02 Coaches, 01 Goalkeeper Coach, 02 Sports Science Experts, 01 Physiotherapist from Premier League clubs. Regarding Vietnamese Coaches, PVF has gathered top domestic coaches such as Coach Hoang Anh Tuan and coaches who were former national players such as Coach Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyen Huu Dang, Nguyen Viet Thang, Le Phuoc Tu... to participate in training.
