Legendary Peugeot returns to Vietnam with three scooter models
French motorcycle manufacturer Peugeot has officially entered the Vietnamese market with three scooter models. The main Peugeot Django model is priced from 60 to 80 million VND, competing with Honda SH.
Within the framework of the Vietnam Imported Car Exhibition (VIMS 2016), the French motorcycle company Peugeot opened a booth to introduce its products and announced its return to Vietnam, after more than 50 years of absence.
According to Mr. Xavier Casin, Director of Peugeot Motocycle Vietnam and Southeast Asia Representative Office, at present, Peugeot is only targeting the high-end scooter segment. This means that the French motorcycle company will have to compete with the Honda SH model and Piaggio's high-end scooter lines.
