Rare 70-year-old woman announces she is pregnant with her 8th child
The old woman suspected she was pregnant 3 months ago when she vomited a lot and confirmed that she had an ultrasound but did not reveal the details of her pregnancy.
Maria de la Luz, who lives in Mazatlan city, Sinaloa state, Mexico, claims to be 6 months pregnant with a baby girl and has ultrasound results to prove it.

This 70 year old womanrefused to disclose details of her pregnancy, such as whether she had undergone IVF, and only suspected she was pregnant about three months ago, according toMetro.
"My legs hurt and I was vomiting and dizzy a lot. I had about 10 ultrasounds in private clinics and public hospitals. The doctors couldn't believe it," said Maria de la Luz. "They told me it was a girl. Look, you can see her beautiful face."

Maria said some of her seven children were not happy about the news of her pregnancy. They said she was too old for this. Maria said her next appointment with the obstetrician was on July 18. She also hoped to have the baby by caesarean section because her age would prevent her from having a vaginal birth.
The world's oldest woman to give birth is Maria del Carmen Bousada de Lara of Spain, who gave birth to twin boys Chritian and Pau in December 2006 at the age of nearly 67. Both were delivered by cesarean section before their due date and each weighed 1.6 kg.Bousada de Lara admitted to lying to doctors about her real age when she went to a hospital in California, USA, to undergo artificial insemination.
