Hyundai Accent 2015 price from 551 million in Vietnam

The new version of Accent includes both sedan and hatchback versions, using 1.4 Kappa engine and some design changes.

The imported B-segment car still carries Hyundai's signature "fluidic sculpture" design philosophy. But the novelty lies in some changes to both the interior and exterior.

The new Accent comes in both sedan and hatchback versions.

Projector headlights and LED positioning system use automatic on/off technology according to light conditions. 16-inch rims and remote-openable trunk, electric and heated rearview mirrors.

Inside the cabin are leather seats, electric power steering wheel with integrated function control keys, sunroof, entertainment system with MP3, USB port, CD player with 6 speakers. Safety system includes reverse warning, ABS anti-lock braking system, disc brakes for both front and rear wheels, 2 front airbags for automatic transmission version.

The interior has some upgrades.

Under the hood is a 1.4 Kappa engine that produces 99 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 133 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The sedan has two transmission options: a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The hatchback only uses a CVT.

Hyundai Accent Blue 2015 is sold in Vietnam with 5 color options: white, silver, red, blue, black. The 1.4 MT sedan costs 551.2 million VND, the 1.4 CVT sedan costs 559 million VND, and the 1.4 CVT hatchback costs 569 million VND. The selling price includes VAT, import tax and special consumption tax.

Although it is a completely imported car, the Accent Blue is priced much lower than its domestically assembled competitor, the Vios. The Vios G version costs 612 million VND. The problem that Accent faces is still the prejudice about Korean car brands in the eyes of most Vietnamese consumers.
