Based on the new Kia Picanto, the next-generation i10 will have some design differences.

The prototype was caught by paparazzi during a test drive in Europe with German license plates, in the middle of a cold winter. The bodywork was temporarily covered with a thick layer of camouflage, but still revealed some changes on the third generation i10.

First up are the new-look headlights, while the grille is also said to be redesigned, according toAutoindustria. The taillights have been changed and may incorporate LEDs. The rear bumper has been redesigned and appears to be smaller than the current generation.

In addition to the exterior differences, the third generation i10 is also said to have changes in the interior. Even the engine has added a new element to help increase competitiveness in the A segment.

The next generation Hyundai i10 is expected to launch in 2019. The current generation has been on sale since 2013, while the first generation had a life cycle from 2007 to 2013.

The South Korean carmaker's small hatchback is a bestseller in many markets in Asia and elsewhere. Popular in India, where it was first introduced to the world in 2007, the Hyundai i10 was also the most-bought car in the UK in 2009.

In 2014, Hyundai Thanh Cong first introduced the i10 and the imported car quickly took the small-sized segment by storm, competing with its formidable rival Kia Morning, creating a Korean car war in the Vietnamese market. By July 2017, the i10 was assembled in Vietnam, making the competition even more fierce. Morning had a price advantage, while the i10 had a spacious interior. For Vietnamese people buying a small car for the first time, the main question is "Choose i10 or Morning?".
