It is expected that at the end of July 2015, the mini crossover Hyundai i20 Active will be officially introduced to the market.
Most likely, the Hyundai i20 Active in the Vietnamese market will only have one version of the 1.4-liter Kappa gasoline engine, maximum capacity of 100 horsepower, maximum torque of 133 Nm and new generation 4-speed automatic transmission.
Based on leaked images on social networks in Vietnam in recent days, the Hyundai i20 Active has a fairly balanced design.
According to research, this 5-seat multi-purpose model will be equipped with LED daytime running lights, positioning lights and cornering lights. The car has dimensions of 3,995 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and 1,555 mm high. Ground clearance is 190 mm.
When officially arriving in Vietnam, Hyundai i20 Active will compete directly with rival Ford EcoSport and thereby make this sub-segment the only place where there is only a race between two rivals.
It can be said that in the B-segment, Hyundai i20 Active and its rival Ford EcoSport have remarkable strengths, namely modern design, high ground clearance, and good performance in many different road conditions.
