Tucson 2016 is the 3rd generation, first launched in the world market in March 2015. After 11 years of birth and development, the cumulative sales of this model in the previous two generations reached an impressive number: more than 4 million units.

The car has overall dimensions of 4,475 x 1,850 x 1,660 mm (length x width x height), shorter and lower but wider than its two rivals CR-V and CX-5; wheelbase 2,670 mm, between the two rivals. Ground clearance 172 mm, equivalent to CR-V but significantly lower than CX-5's 210 mm.
