Hyundai Tucson 2016 - comprehensive change
The new generation crossover has a redesigned exterior, upgraded interior and is equipped with many new technological features.
The 2016 Tucson carries many design features from its predecessor, the Santa Fe, with a hexagonal chrome grille, more stylish headlights using high technology, and LED daytime running lights.

The interior of the 2016 Tucson is also upgraded with more premium materials, a larger touch screen than the previous generation. Leather-wrapped steering wheel with control buttons, chrome door handles, heated and ventilated front seats and a more spacious luggage compartment with a capacity of 513 liters when the rear seats are folded.
Regarding the engine, Hyundai equips the Tucson 2016 with a 1.6-liter GDI European standard naturally aspirated engine, 135 horsepower combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. In addition, there is also a 1.6 turbocharged engine version with 176 horsepower combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

For diesel versions, Hyundai uses a 1.7-liter version with 115 horsepower combined with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 2-liter version with 136 horsepower or 184 horsepower. Both 2-liter engine versions are equipped with a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission.
In terms of safety features, the Korean automaker has equipped the 2016 Tucson with a new generation SPAS parking assistance system, AEB automatic emergency braking, lane departure prevention system, rear collision warning, and active blind spot monitoring. The system notifies and actively raises the hood to avoid frontal collisions in the event of an accident.
After its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the 2016 Hyundai Tucson will go on sale in Europe in the second half of 2015.
